Almond Oil is derived from almond nuts. There are two types of almond oil: sweet and bitter almond oil. The sweet almond oil is what is usually used for hair. It is pale yellow in colour and it is usually added to hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leaves-in and many more. It is also added to many skin products.
Almond oil is high in a large number of
important nutrients. There are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty
acids, vitamins B1, B6, B2 and E, as well as calcium, iron and
magnesium in sweet almond oil. All these ingredients make sweet almond
oil beneficial for hair. Vitamin E is commonly known as essential for
hair, and almond oil satisfies the needs of hair and scalp in this very
vitamin.
1) It helps nourish, recondition and soften scalp and hair.
2) Almond oil soothes hair cuticles.
3) It makes hair healthy, stronger and thicker.
4) Massaging almond oil into scalp lets improve blood circulation.
5) It gives a healthy shine to dull hair.
6) Almond oil mixed with tea tree oil helps fight dandruff.
7) Regular application of almond oil for hair growth can greatly lessen hair loss.

Walk down to the beauty care section of any salon, spa, grocery store or local pharmacy store, and you will notice that almond oil is one of the most common ingredients found in most of the beauty products, and in some cases, boastfully displayed as a prime ingredient also
