I finally tried tried Tea Rinsing and I LOVE it!!. Tea Rinsing is done pouring any kind of tea over your hair. It is known to stimulate hair growth, strength hair and nourish it as well. It also combats shedding. I have done two tea rinses so far and i must say this is going to be a STAPLE in my hair regimen.I can testify that your hair feels strengthened when u do a tea rinse. Be sure to follow up with a deep moisturising conditioner because the tea leaves hair quite stiff.
Here are some teas I plan to use in my hair regimen:
BLACK TEA: It helps in decreasing DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), a hormone found in the
scalp which causes hair loss. Thus, black tea helps in increasing hair
thickness and lowering hair loss.
It adds a natural darkness to your hair due to to the dark colour of the tea . It is also known to leave your hair shiny and lustrous.
GREEN TEA: Green tea is also known to block and decrease DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). It prevents and cures dandruff because it contains antiseptic properties. It stimulates hair growth and softens it as well. Green tea is known to contain Vitamin C and E which are known to boost lustrous hair.
THYME TEA: It prevents hair loss and restore scalp health for optimal hair growth. It also increases blood circulation in the scalp and removes bacteria and fungal organisms on scalp.
MARSHMALLOW TEA: Marshmallow is known to soften hair and provide slip which helps in detangling. It also promotes hair growth and natural shine. It relieves dry scalp and dandruff too.
BURDOCK TEA: It eases scalp irritations and increases blood circulation to hair follicle. It contains important fatty acids for hair roots and its also known to reverse thinning hair.
ROSEMARY TEA: Rosemary in general, is believed thicken hair and stimulate hair follicles and growth. It also believed to prevent permanent hair loss and premature gray hair. It also helps relieve itchy scalps and dandruff and gives the hair shine.
